Air pollution is hurting our children

The many cars in our streets pollute the air we breathe. Especially diesel cars have a very negative impact on our health. Their fumes cause respiratory diseases and increase the risk of cancer, asthma, lung infections and other health impacts. Children are particularly vulnerable. Petrol cars have a slightly better health scoreboard, but are also damaging our climate. So eventually we’ll need to get rid of all fossil-fuelled cars and build neighborhoods for people, not for cars.

Human-sized streets

Imagine neighborhoods built around people, not cars. Where you reach your destination without having to sit in polluting, time-consuming traffic. Where your primary modes of transport are your own feet, bicycles, attractive and renewable-energy powered public transport and shared electric vehicles. And where, most of all, you are able to breath clean air.
